1935, 's-Gravenzande–2024 · Winssen

Huub Kortekaas ('s-Gravenzande, 17 July 1935 - 2024) was a Dutch sculptor. He first chose a career in teaching, but at the age of twenty-five made his first sculpture - a large Erasmus statue for the university in Nijmegen - and at thirty devoted himself entirely to art.

From the late 1960s onwards he formed an artist duo with his wife Adelheid. Together they developed a universal visual language that they called 'Quantum Art', characterised by monumental plants, flowers and buds, often executed in Corten steel.
