Theo Elfrink

Theodorus Martinus (Theo) Elfrink (Babberich, 16 May 1923 - Nijmegen, 31 May 2014) was a Dutch painter and graphic artist. He studied at the academies of fine arts in Arnhem and Eindhoven and worked in Ubbergen from 1953.

In addition, he had a studio in the bridgehead of the railway bridge near Nijmegen and taught at the Vrije Academie Nijmegen. His work is strongly inspired by the Rijk van Nijmegen and hangs, among other places, in Museum Het Valkhof. In 1988 he received the Charlemagne Prize.
