Zhou Jun

Zhou Jun (born 26 February 1955 in Shanghai) was a professor at an art academy in Shanghai and curator of the city's national museum of modern art. In 1989 he emigrated with his wife to the Netherlands and settled in Nijmegen.
His work bridges East Asian and Western artistic traditions, using Chinese ink on Xuan paper and expressive brush techniques. His compositions are influenced by the Xie Yi painting style and the Yi people of the Chinese province of Sichuan.
His works have been exhibited internationally and distributed worldwide as posters.
